Concept of Examen:
My inspiration ranges from the pattern formations created in the urban landscape to the intricately and beautifully created map drawings by Nigel Peake. The landscape photography of Georg Gerster and William Garnett has inspired me tremendously with my initial ideas and design development. I have used their striking photographic images to produce a new and exciting way of looking at the landscape surrounding us in the form of delicate patterns on wavering scales.
