| The last months, i worked on a documentation of the danceform breaking, also called b-boying/b-girling.
I collected photo material from all over the world, collected informations and wrote down the history of this dance. During this time, I talked to a lot of contemporary witnesses to make this book as authentic as possible.
Due to the huge target group, I made the book bi-lingual (german/english) to be able to reach out to as many people as possible.
The book includes 5 chapters, a foreword plus one chapter for each decade of the dance. From the 70s to the time since the year 2000.
Within the book, one can find a colour code for each decade, certain breaks which keep the attention of the reader alive (the book offers 256 pages) plus an interview with a dancer/contemporary witness of the decade which allows people to see and understand how things were like back then.
